I Want to Leave Humanity's Stupidity
by Lucinda Dawsond
A raven called to me from the sky
To this day I question why
Yet, quick as a cat
I swept off my hat
A wave, a jaunty bow
I replaced my cap upon my brow
The raven went North
And my steps took me South
Life followed West
Entropy skipped on next
With Death's moon close behind them
Humanity saw this and ran to the East
Inevitability came plodding after
I smiled and ginned
For there's no way to "win"
So like raven I'll fly
Set foot to the sky
And jest to meet death
From here after
